Since its inception in 2014, the Shanghai International Trendy Beverage Creative Production Competition (commonly known as the “Trendy Beverage Competition”), initiated and organized by Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co., Ltd., has, through twelve editions of accumulation, gained significant recognition within the beverage industry and among the general public. Officially upgraded to the “World Trendy Beverage Competition” starting from the 2025-26 season, the competition stimulates the creativity of beverage research and development personnel by limiting ingredients to sponsor-provided materials while encouraging free creative expression in beverage production. Through the competition and interpretation of trendy beverages, it collectively promotes tea beverage culture, drives the development of the beverage market, and leads new industry trends.

The “2026 World Trendy Beverage Competition China Finals” will be held from December 16th to 18th at the HOTELEX Shenzhen International Hotel & Catering Expo. By then, champions, runners-up, third-place, and fourth-place winners from the sub-competitions in Chengdu, Zhengzhou, Guangzhou, Zunyi, Quanzhou, Beijing, Changzhou, and Shanghai will engage in fierce competition for the title of China National Champion and the opportunity to advance to the world competition.

The “2026 World Trendy Beverage Competition” is scheduled to take place from March 30th to April 2nd, 2026, concurrently with the 34th Shanghai International Hotel & Catering Expo. The event will bring together top performers from the 2026 World Trendy Beverage Competition China Finals and participants from overseas regions and countries (including Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam) to compete for the honor of “2026 World Trendy Beverage Champion.”
